About Us
Carl and Jeanne are experienced senior psychologists, who immigrated to the beautiful Sydney in July 2017. They are based in the heart of St Ives.
They provide a wide range of psychological services and their approach is focused on tailoring therapy to the needs of each individual, considering their individual strengths, resources and challenges. At OurPsych you can find support for families, couples and individuals of all ages. They are neurodiversity and gender affirming.
They both have extensive experience, specialising in different areas of assessment and therapy.
You will find them at 237 Mona Vale Road, St Ives, 2075, situated above Pattison’s, with the entrance on Stanley Street. There is a public carpark across Mona Vale Rd with more than enough parking space.
Psychologists
Carl Hattingh
Carl is a senior Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor trained in evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person Centred Therapy as well as Couples- and Family therapy. He is the founding director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of Sydney and president of the Australian Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. Carl presents training for medical and healthcare professionals internationally.
Jeanne Fourie Hattingh
Jeanne is an AHPRA registered senior psychologist who was trained in Developmental, Educational and Counselling Psychology. She is neurodiversity affirming and has lived experience in neurodivergence, ADHD and autism. Besides a Masters in Ed Psych, she also completed her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Intervention, with the focus on multidisciplinary intervention.
